An effective evaluation can help highly successful boards to boost their performance and improve their organisation.
Board Evaluation requires good governance and it is a valuable process in improving board performance whatever the size, status or type of organisation.
The process of evaluating a board and the performance of its directors can be time-consuming and expensive; and any evaluation should be appropriate to the size and scope of the organisation.
At OIS, we will assess the individual and group dynamics and present you with a written report based on our analysis from the completed questionnaires.
Our analysis will give a snapshot view of how the board is currently operating in key areas including strategy, operations management, marketing, ethics and principles, internal controls, risk and performance management, boardroom activity and board committees (where appropriate) and the role of the board members, including the Chairman.
Each board member will receive a questionnaire that enables them to assess the performance of the board against key criteria. All responses remain anonymous and individual board members will not be identified at any stage of the process.
The results are provided in an analytical report which will show a summary of the feedback received, enabling a board to improve its effectiveness by identifying areas of strength as well as focussing on areas for development.
OIS is also available work as consultants to help improve the performance of the board and organisation as a whole.
